Three sign on once more at Aveley, as Sykes, Donovan and Mochalski confirm

Aveley announced three returning players yesterday, with confirmation that George Sykes, Harry Donovan and Jack Mochalski have signed on for the forthcoming season.

Striker Sykes scored seventeen goals during the unfinished 2019-20 season, and another seven last time around. The striker came through the youth setup at Barnet, and subsequently played for Farnborough, Bishop's Stortford, St Albans City, Canvey Island, Maldon & Tiptree and Tilbury. He joined Brentwood Town at the end of last season- remembering that the end was quite close to the beginning- but didn't get to play a single match.

Midfielder Donovan joined the Millers last September, and went on to play seven times, scoring once. Harry finished the 2019-20 season in National League South, playing for Tonbridge Angels- where he played fourteen times after making his debut the previous November. He started his footballing life with Arsenal, coming through their Academy setup, and was then an Under 23 player with Millwall, since when he's played for Dagenham and Redbridge, Havant and Waterlooville and Braintree Town.

Defender Mochalski has finished two seasons with the Millers- although effectively none of us managed to finish either of them. He made eight appearances last season, thirty two the season before, and previously played for Soham Town Rangers, as well as Great Shelford, Great Wakering Rovers, Romford and Barkingside.
