New arrival Jamie Shaw is good at both ends!

AFC Sudbury this morning announced the arrival of Jamie Shaw, who most recently played for our new Pitching In North club Stowmarket Town.

Jamie can be both a centre forward and a centre back, rather like a young Paul Warhurst (ask your dad). Coggeshall Town fans will also recognise him, as he was a big part of their Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division title-winning side back in 2017-18. He has also played for Stanway Rovers, where he was quite prolific.

The yellows have described him as a centre back, but opposition defences better mark him well at corners!
