A World Tour of Kent Part Two: Faversham Town

Our second visit today was to the home of Kentish Beer. Sadly there wasn't any available, but we still enjoyed a visit to Salters Lane

Faversham Town have spent the last six months hosting the largest beer garden in Kent- on the training pitch behind The Aquatherm Stadium. As we got there today they were beginning the job of dismantling it- and the stage that has hosted a collection of local musicians to entertain the drinking masses- but they were also building a new gazebo, especially to house another set of drinking masses in a socially distanced way, because the football is back!

On Saturday they host Eastbourne Town in the FA Cup, and the locals might need earplugs, as the last time we saw the visitors play a match they had a three piece band including a saxophone! The next home match is on 26th, and it will featured Eastbourne Town's neighbours from Hastings- our title favourites.
