We asked supporters of our BetVictor Isthmian League clubs to preview the new season, reflect on the old and predict the final outcome. Their predicted 1-20 (or 22) will be worked into a final table which you will see just before the big kick off.
Matthew Hutchinson is a fan of Chalfont St Peter, and rather optimistic about their chances during the forthcoming season.
1. What was your favourite moment of last season?
The send off against Hanwell Town for Danny Edwards. It was rather special, the guard of honour and the whole day, thanking him for his 15 years at the club and all that he had achieved.
2. And your worst moment?
Hearing that Danny Edwards was leaving the club. Also losing 4-0 to Hayes and Yeading United in January.
3. How will you do this season?
I think we will surprise a lot of people. I think we are going to sneak into the playoffs but not quite go up.
4. Which matches are you most looking forward to going to- and why?
Staines Town and Harlow Town because they are new to the league. Oh, and Uxbridge because it is always a great day.
5. What is your favourite away ground?
It has to be Ashford Town.
6. Who do you consider your biggest rivals- and why?
Uxbridge. Perhaps they are the closest to us, too.
7. What advice would you give to any away supporter visiting you for the first time?
Try sitting in both ends! And also try the food (the Bacon butties are the best).
8. Who is your favourite player of all time (for your club)- and why?
It has got to be Alan Hedley, an absolute club legend who has been at the club for over 10 years. Incredible loyalty.
9. Who will be in the top five at the end of the season?
Bracknell Town, Harlow Town, Marlow (Play off Winner), Chalfont St Peter, Waltham Abbey
