Black signs on once more at Hastings

Defender agrees to stay for another crack at promotion

Hastings United have been magnificent over two incomplete seasons, and yesterday defender Ollie Black signed on for the forthcoming campaign and sounded an optimistic note that they'll be able to make it third time lucky.

“We’ve show we have the best team and coaching staff in the league, and I can’t wait to get started again. Luck with the promotion situation hasn’t been on our side but hopefully it’s third time lucky and this year we will get to finish a job we started a couple of years back, finally delivering to The ‘U’s supporters their much deserved promotion, ” he explained to the club website after signing a new deal for the 2021-22 season.

Ollie was the manager's Young Player of the Year in 2019-20, making thirty six appearances, and he'd made another ten in all competitions before last season ground to a halt.
