Buildbase Community Award

By Ian Townsend

FA Trophy sponsors could give £25,000 to one of our clubs- have you applied?

FA Trophy sponsors Buildbase have launched their annual fifty thousand pound Community Club Award scheme, with twenty five thousand pounds earmarked for building work for a club entered in the FA Trophy, and another twenty five thousand pounds going to a club competing in the FA Vase.

This year they are "specifically looking for FA Vase & Trophy clubs that have gone above and beyond for their local community throughout the Covid 19 Pandemic. Whether that's delivering free school meals to children or raising money for local charities who have been affected, we want to know!" Given the work that many of our clubs have done in their communities during the past difficult ten months we must have a number of candidates, so fill in the application form, which you can find here.

The prize is to go specifically towards a building project of community value. It might be clubhouse improvement, pitch improvement, stand and seating improvements or something different, and you must get a quote from a local Buildbase for the cost of materials and equipment hire.

Pitching In Isthmian South Central club Hanwell Town are previous recipients of Buildbase funding, and you can read how they put their good fortune to great use by heading here.
