FA Cup early rounds- draw released

We’re now able to release the draws for the Extra Preliminary and Preliminary Rounds of the FA Cup, which landed in our inbox earlier today.

The Extra Preliminary Round will consist of one hundred and eighty four ties, and you can read all of it on the FA website now- but we’ll only deal with the Isthmian relevant bits of it here, otherwise you’ll be playing an FA Cup version of Where’s Wally as you try to spot our clubs.

Ties will be played on Tuesday 1st September, with prize money of £1,125 for the winners and £375 for the losers.

There will be no replays, and no extra time. If a match is level after ninety minutes it will go straight to a penalty shootout.

Moving on to the Preliminary Round now, and there are one hundred and sixty ties. Again, so that you don’t need a magnifying glass, we’ve taken out the ties involving clubs that aren’t from our patch.

Ties will be played on Saturday 12th September, and the prize money is £1,444 for the winners, £481 for the losers.
