Darren Foxley's loan return to Bishop's Stortford from Billericay Town has been a great success, with four goals in seven matches, and now the winger has been announced- by Town- as making a permanent move to our Blues.
Darren came through the Academy at Dagenham & Redbridge before making an Isthmian name for himself at Soham Town Rangers- so much so that he earned a trial with Bournemouth. He went on to play for Cambridge City, Hungerford Town, St Albans City, East Thurrock United and having two spells for Stortford before signing for Billericay early this year. He'd scored four goals in thirteen matches for Stortford last season, playing an enormous part in their run to the First Round of the FA Cup.
Darren is joined at the Blues by Bowers & Pitsea stalwart James Thomas. James has been an enormous part of Bowers success, celebrating two title wins- in the Essex Senior League and our North Division- and making one hundred and sixty five appearances, scoring fourteen goals. He was on the bench in the draw with Carshalton Athletic at the weekend, but is yet to make his debut.
