And they are also making a significant boardroom change

Haywards Heath Town have announced- according to the local paper- the return to the club of former manager Shaun Saunders, who stepped away from the role less than five weeks ago. He replaced Lloyd Cotton, who was appointed Co-Manager alongside Saunders at the start of August and who has now reportedly left the club.

This was confirmed to the Mid Sussex Times by Chairman Mick Cottingham, who also confirmed that he was no longer chairman! He explained:

"Lloyd Cotton has left the club and Shaun Saunders has come back.

We are not quite sure what happened but I understand he has just left.

Saunders has now stepped back into the role."

Mick has gone on to explain that, after working alongside Saunders to preside over the most successful period in the club's history, he's going to take more of a back seat going forward. Steve Isherwood, who runs the Junior section at the Thank You NHS Stadium, will take on the top job.
