Lawson is a Hawk

K's midfielder Omarr Lawson returns to Sussex

Kingstonian have announced that midfielder/forward Omarr Lawson has moved to the seaside, signing for Pitching In Isthmian South East side Whitehawk.

Omarr moved to King George's Field last February, making three appearances and scoring once before the whole world closed down. He has made another half a dozen appearances this season, his last as a substitute as the K's defeated Haringey Borough last week.

Prior to his time with the K's he played for Lewes. He made forty nine appearances for the Rooks in 2018-19, and started thirteen times as they won promotion the season before, after moving over from VCD Athletic.

He started as a Dulwich Hamlet youth, and had trials at Portsmouth, Watford and Cardiff City before eventually signing for Bognor Regis Town. He then spent two seasons at Canvey Island, and also turned out for Crawley Down Gatwick during their Isthmian days.

We haven't seen an announcement from the Hawks yet, but the K's take on the move can be read here.
