Leatherhead bring in two

Tanners bring back McGee, and welcome Briggs

Leatherhead yesterday announced the return to the club of midfielder Craig McGee, and added a new midfielder in the shape of Andrew Briggs, who heads up the A24 (having first gone a short way along the A27) from Lancing.

McGee made eighteen appearances in green last season, and also spent some time on loan at East Grinstead Town, where he made eleven more. He joined the club at the start of 2019 from Sutton United, where he came through their Academy.

Briggs will be a new name for Tanners fans, after he moves up from the Southern Combination Football League- but he isn't without Isthmian experience, as he spent most of last season playing for Burgess Hill Town, making twenty three appearances. He also has experience at a higher level than even our Premier Division, as prior to heading to Leylands Park he turned out for National League South Eastbourne Borough.
