Millers bring in a forward from Athletic

By Ian Townsend

We'd gone a whole day without an Aveley transfer story- so here you go!

Aveley yesterday announced that they'd signed forward Manny Ogunrinde from Grays Athletic. Manny made thirty nine appearances for Jim Cooper's side last season, scoring nine goals- six of which came in cup competitions. He also got three more in pre-season friendlies, but we're not counting those!

Still only nineteen, Manny came through the Grays Academy setup and spent two years with Salford City, featuring for the first team whilst stepping up from their Academy side. He has also played Schoolboy football for England and Manchester at Under 18 level.
