New signings for Grays and Dereham

Some North Division transfer news

Two of our North Division clubs announced new arrivals yesterday evening.

Grays Athletic were first up, and they brought in a Wanderer- a Cray Wanderer, Zak Henry.

Zak made 66 appearances for Cray, forty one last season as they made it to the playoffs, but this season has spent most of his time on the bench as the club have soared eight points clear at the top of the table. He has therefore decided to head through the Dartford Tunnel and swap one 3G pitch for another, and will go into the squad for Athletic's New Years Day match with Romford. Read more at the Grays website, here.

Dereham Town are currently in nineteenth place in the North Division, and have picked up only two points from the last twenty one. Today they face the only side below them, Soham Town Rangers- and now they have a new centre back to help them pick up three points, having signed Adam Plumstead from Wroxham. Plumstead last played in the Bostik League for the Yachtsmen in 2016/17, turning out 23 times as they were relegated alongside Great Wakering Rovers.
