Rams striker reunites with his former manager

Millbank is an Oysterboy

Former Ramsgate striker Aaron Millbank has been announced as a new signing for fellow BetVictor South East side Whitstable Town.

Millbank, who came through the youth ranks at Gillingham but has played the vast majority of his football for the Rams, made twenty seven appearances last season, scoring seven times. His former Rams boss, Lloyd Blackman, is of course now in charge at Whitstable, and is pleased with his new acquisition. Speaking to the club website, here, he stated:

“I’m delighted to have the signature of Aaron Milbank for the coming season. I’ve been speaking to Aaron throughout the summer as he’s been travelling with his girlfriend and we’ve kept in constant communication. He’s a player I know very well and his qualities are there for all to see, as seen on Tuesday night with his performance less than 48 hours after arriving back in the country."

That match on Tuesday saw Millbank hit a seventeen minute hat trick, but he couldn't stop his new side falling to a thrilling six-four defeat at home to Margate.
