Former Arsenal defender is Tamplin's latest signing

Romford manager Glenn Tamplin has announced the signing of former Arsenal defender Cedric Evina.

Cedric started his career at the Gunners, before heading to Oldham Athletic on loan. He later became a permanent Latic, winning their Young Player of the Year award in 2010-11.

He left Oldham to join Charlton Athletic, expressing a wish to be nearer home, and remained with the the Addicks for three seasons. He then spent three seasons with Doncaster Rovers, a season on loan with Crawley Town, and last year was part of the Notts County squad that suffered relegation from League Two.

If he makes his Romford debut against Tilbury tonight he will become the eightieth player to play for the club this season.
