Ramsgate launch an apprenticeship scheme- with a glossy video and some laudable aims

Pitching In Isthmian South East club Ramsgate seem to be expanding by the day, with lots of community initiatives already announced- and now they've taken another step by offering an apprenticeship scheme.

In a video which you can see below, and which is presented by manager Matt Longhurst, the club offer apprentices a paid two year first team football contract- and an education to go alongside it. The ten apprentices will be the face of Ramsgate FC in the community, heading into local schools to provide coaching and mentoring to children, improving their fitness and their confidence.

It's a fabulous idea. Click play and find out more.
