Wade for Ware

Grays striker goes South Central

Yesterday morning Grays Athletic announced that they’d released striker Tommy Wade ‘to a new club.’ Later in the day we found out who that new club was, as he was unveiled at Woodson Park.

Ware have scored nineteen goals in their last six matches- including the half a dozen at South Park on Saturday which so delighted the lovely folk in the image above- so don’t look particularly short of firepower, but Wade will undoubtedly be a useful addition as they try to push up into the Playoff places. He has scored three goals so far this season, but has consistently been used from the bench, so will be hoping for an opportunity to start matches at Wodson Park. His last appearance for Grays was as a second half substitute in the draw with Great Wakering Rovers on Saturday.
