Five for Regent

Unless they announce more whilst we're writing this article, Brightlingsea Regent have named five new signings!

Brightlingsea Regent came so close to a morale-boosting win on Tuesday night that they- and we- can't really believe they ended up with nothing, but they have strengthened extensively this week, with five new signings.

Defender Zack Littlejohn moved- like his manager- from White Ensign, but you might remember him from his time with Brentwood Town, Canvey Island or Concord Rangers. He made his Regent debut on Tuesday night.

Another White Ensign mover was defender Andy George, who also made his debut on Tuesday, whilst signing number three comes from- guess where- White Ensign and takes the shape of midfielder Luke Skinner, who wore number eight on Tuesday night.

Another midfielder, Dominic Locke, comes in from Manchester United- no, sorry, it's White Ensign, we're just desperate for a little variety- and scored on his Tuesday debut, whilst signing number five comes in from, no, we're not even going to bother telling you, but Connor Barnby has already scored ten goals this season in the ESL and previously spent time with Great Wakering Rovers. He wasn't in the squad on Tuesday.
