Folkestone edge closer

FOLKESTONE edged a little closer to the Ryman South promotion places with a 1-1 draw at Eastbourne tonight (Wednesday).

The goals came in the space of five first-half minutes. Steve Elliot put the home side ahead in the 24th minute and Phil Stevenson replied with a penalty.

Folkestone moved up one place to seventh, two points short of the play-off places.
