Former Port Vale player gets Jammers debut

Kamani McFarlane arrives at Maldon & Tiptree


Saturday's defeat at the hands of Tilbury saw the Maldon & Tiptree debut of Kamani McFarlane, who played for fifty three minutes on the opening day of the season.

The forward, who can also play in an attacking midfield role, left Vale Park in the summer at the end of his Academy scholarship. Last season saw him spend some time on loan at Wythenshawe Amateurs, who were fighting for promotion from North West Counties League Division One. They qualified for the Play Offs but that was the extent of their success.

A Londoner by birth, at least he is now rather closer to home!
