Former Swindon striker comes to Town

Billericay Town have announced the signing of striker Jacob Bancroft, who has most recently been turning out for Oxford City.

Jacob was a youth player at Aldershot Town and at Swindon Town, before finding his way through the Magic Roundabout and making his full debut for the latter.

He then spent loan time with Salisbury, Wantage Town and Thatcham Town before moving on to Oxford City for the first time. Haringey Borough fans may remember him, as it was his goals which knocked them out of the FA Trophy on January 16th last year.

A move to Stevenage followed, but that lasted only five months before a return to City last season.
