Our leaders, Bracknell Town, seem to have forgotten what it feels like to lose- and they looked well on their way to a thirteenth successive win when a Seb Bowerman double on twenty six and thirty six minutes put them two up against Staines Town. The Swans fought back, Reece Cave scoring from the spot just after the break, but Bowerman’s hat trick- his second in three matches- wasn’t long in coming. The scoring stopped there, and the Robins remain fourteen points clear.

Chertsey Town saw Magnus Abisogun get the opening goal against Sutton Common Rovers ten minutes before half time, but the lead at the break was double that, as Ashley Lodge converted a penalty shortly before they all trooped off for a half time orange. That was that, and the Curfews remain in second place.

Marlow and Binfield couldn’t be separated for an hour, but then Nnamdi Nwachuku stepped up to score from the spot and give the hosts the lead. The same player then added two more to claim a hat trick, take his tally for the season up to nineteen, and his side up to third.

Uxbridge, nine matches unbeaten, looked to make it ten against Thatcham Town- and had a great start, Victor Osobu putting them ahead after nine minutes. Anthony Mendy soon made it two, his nineteenth of the season, but the Kingfishers weren’t going to give up without a fight, and Glenn Kusel-Gabriel halved the deficit on twenty six minutes. Sadly for the visitors Mendy then took his tally to twenty, but just after the break Josh Edwards again reduced the arrears and gave visiting fans hope. The equaliser wasn’t to arrive, however, and Uxbridge are fourth.

Basingstoke Town were rather too welcoming to Westfield, for whom Tayshan Hayden-Smith scored in the very first minute- and the visitors doubled their advantage midway through the first half, Sam Evans heading home for two. Town then got going, Conor Lynch’s sixteenth of the season getting them back into the game with twenty five minutes remaining, and Lloyd Snell getting an equaliser eight minutes later to earn a point. Town slip to fifth.

Tooting & Mitcham United and Hanwell Town were inseparable for an hour, and then Harry Rush put the Geordies ahead. Goal two also went to the visitors, Sam Saunders doubling the advantage thirteen minutes from time, and the Geordies end the day in sixth, four points off the playoff places.

Ashford Town (Middx) hosted South Park, the Sparks having seen their good run come to an end with three successive defeats- but they went ahead in this one, the always dangerous Ibrahim Jalloh getting his ninth of the season midway through the first half. Dale Burnham equalised for the Tangerines three minutes before the break, and the turnaround was complete when Antonis Vasiliou made it two-one twenty minutes from time. Three points turned tangerine.
