Four Sports!

Reyon Dillon, Charlie Wickham, Dom Pires and Ethan Kaiser (none of whom are pictured!) all announced as new arrivals at Bedfont Sports

Bedfont Sports announced a number of signings at the weekend, and we decided not to report on them until we were sure they'd stopped! Sports, who are scheduled to face Leatherhead at Fetcham Grove tomorrow night, introduced the following quartet.

Reyon Dillon, a forward, has most recently been with Corinthian-Casuals, making five appearances during October and November. Last season he played for both Merstham- then in our Premier Division- and East Grinstead Town.

Prior to joining Merstham, Reyon was plying his trade in Ireland with Cork City, although you might also remember him from his first period with Casuals, where he scored five goals in nine appearances during 2016-17 and another six in thirty during 2017-18. Prior to Casuals, the forward was with Sutton United, and has also spent time with Fulham, West Ham United, Ebbsfleet United and Oxford United as a callow youth.

Charlie Wickham returns to the game after time away. The defender, who played briefly for Sports during the 20-21 campaign- not that there was much of it- has since been with Met Police, and prior was with Boreham Wood.

Dom Pires is a full back who started this season with Haywards Heath Town, but has more recently been turning out for Colliers Wood United. Full back Dom made thirty five appearances for South Park Reigate last season- and even played briefly in goal against Three Bridges, going between the sticks after Sparks keeper Aaron Bufton saw red in an FA Cup replay. His side won the match, four-two.

Finally, Ethan Kaiser is back with the club. Ethan joined Cray Wanderers from Sports in December 2021, and made sixteen appearances- scoring three times- as his side escaped the Premier Division drop by the skin of their teeth at the end of the campaign. He made twenty three appearances last season for Sports, an enormous part of their success as they reached the final Qualifying Round of the FA Cup, where they were defeated by Kidderminster Harriers. They'd already defeated Dulwich Hamlet and Sholing to reach that stage.

He came through the Academy at Carshalton Athletic, left there to sign for Queens Park Rangers, and has also played at Tonbridge Angels and Tooting & Mitcham United, as well as spending time on trial at Doncaster Rovers.

He started this season at Potters Bar Town, and made ten appearances.
