Koroma the Robin is now a Mackerel Man


League leaders Worthing have strengthened before today's trip to East Thurrock United with the signing of Carshalton Athletic forward Omar Koroma.

Omar, who has already scored five goals this season, has been a big part of the Robins recent success, with eight goals last season and nine in 2018-19- but it was the promotion season of 2017-18 when he had the biggest impact, coming in on loan from Dulwich Hamlet and grabbing fourteen as Athletic took the South Division title with one hundred and two points and ninety nine goals- three more points and six more goals than runners up Lewes.

He had three spells with Hamlet in total, and also played at a higher level with Portsmouth, Norwich City and Forest Green Rovers, as well as having a rather chilly spell in Iceland with Throttur Reykjavík.
