From players to managers for Westfield

Westfield replace departed Ian Selley with a managerial duo, as Luke Elliott and Andy Crossley step up

If Westfield were disheartened by the loss of manager Ian Selley to rivals Leatherhead, they didn't wait too long before appointing a replacement- and the Woking Park side decided that one replacement wouldn't be enough, promoting players Luke Elliot and Andy Crossley to joint-manager roles.

Midfielder Andy played forty six matches for the club last season, following thirty eight in the previous campaign. He was previously something of a legend at Chertsey Town, where he played for a decade and made three hundred and fifty appearances, winning promotion and the FA Vase before reaching our Play Off Final in 21-22.

Defender Luke made thirty five appearances last season, his third with the club, following forty three in the previous campaign and twenty four after moving to Woking Park part way through the 21-22 season. He joined the club from Chalfont St Peter, where he was captain, and previously played for Chipstead during the 2018-19 campaign, and prior to that spent almost two years with South Park Reigate.

He was previously with Molesey, where he played for a number of years, and also spent a little time with Walton Casuals.

Dave Powell becomes Assistant Manager, whilst Jake Baxter will join the management team as first-team coach alongside Ben Knight.
