Gate sign up five

Margate yesterday announced the signings of George Lamb, Joshua Steele, Chris Sessegnon, Archie Burnett and George Wilkinson.

George is a defender, and although we can find reference to him playing for the club youth side that's all we know about him. We don't know much about Josh, either, but we know plenty about Chris because he made thirty seven appearances last season. Chris previously signed for the club in September 2016 when they were in National League South, and then made thirteen appearances for the club they returned to the Isthmian League in 2017/18, before having a large spell on the sidelines due to serious injury.

Midfielder Archie played for Bromley and Kent as a youth, whilst we believe that George is a forward who steps up from the Youth ranks. He's been a regular in the Kent County Under 18 squad.
