Geordies to groundshare

Don't worry, they're the landlords- they aren't off to Aveley!

Hanwell Town have announced that as of next season- whenever that might be- they'll be playing host to Kensington and Ealing Borough FC.

Kensington and Ealing Borough play in Combined Counties League Division One, and were in eighth place when the season was brought to a premature end- forty one points (no, that's not a typing error) behind leaders Jersey Bulls. Only formed in 2012, they have previously played at the Linford Christie Stadium at White City (no catering available- you had to bring your own lunchbox), shared with Leatherhead at Fetcham Grove, and most recently shared with Raynes Park Vale.

The Geordies are recognised as having one of the best pitches in Non League football, with a state-of-the-art mobile phone operated irrigation system. They also opened new changing rooms at the start of last season, so their new tenants will be spoiled!
