Hanfrey for the Brickies

Defender Tom Hanfrey moves from Sheppey to Sittingbourne

Tom Hanfrey has departed Sheppey United after little more than six weeks, and signed for Pitching In Isthmian South East rivals Sittingbourne.

Tom was at Cray Wanderers last season, signing in September and going on to make twenty eight appearances for the Pitching In Isthmian Premier side.

Tom is primarily a left back- although versatile- who came through the Academy, Under 18's and Under 21's at Bournemouth before signing on for Concord Rangers and then Tonbridge Angels in National League South. He made his Angels debut during the 20-21 campaign but played very few matches before the pandemic kicked in. He previously played on loan for Poole Town, Farnborough and Blackfield & Langley.

He started this season in Pitching In Southern Division One, with FC Romania, and has made six Sheppey appearances, scoring twice.
