Hastings go to Town

That's Eastbourne Town, as they bring in winger Aaron from their Sussex neighbours

Hastings United have continued their squad strengthening for the forthcoming season by confirming the signing of Eastbourne Town winger Aaron Capon.

Aaron, who previously played for Uckfield Town and Eastbourne United, has been an almost ever-present for Town over the last two seasons, creating a large number of chances for his teammates and also scoring quite a few himself. He's now getting the chance- not before time- to test himself at a higher level.

United manager Chris Agutter spoke about his new signing to the club website.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Capes, he’s a great lad who’s hungry to learn. I know Lambo and the guys at Eastbourne Town very well so when they praise a player as much as they have Aaron you know we’re onto a winner. He’s direct, lightning quick and most importantly the right type of character.”
