Hastings retain Worrall

Midfielder stays on for another crack at promotion

Hastings United have announced that midfielder Ryan Worrall has signed on for another season at Pilot Field.

Worrall was a big success during his debut season at the club, making thirty appearances and scoring two goals. He returned to Sussex, where he had previously played for Whitehawk and Eastbourne Borough in National League South, and for Horsham in the Isthmian League, after a period in New Zealand with Tasman United.

He also spent some time on loan at Tonbridge Angels whilst a Borough player.

Manager Chris Agutter, speaking to the club website, was delighted to retain Worrall's services.

“I am really pleased to have a big character, such as Ryan staying with us for next season. We have a winning mentality as a team and he is key to that, add on top his massive contributions on the field and his desire to improve and develop makes Ryan staying such a big positive. We want to have the best local players representing the club and Ryan certainly ticks that box.”
