Hawks and Hamlet Shout Out! For Mental Health

By Ian Townsend

Today's friendly is about more than just football

Whitehawk host Dulwich Hamlet today in a match which has been seventeen months in planning.

During lockdown the Hawks and our former pink and blue favourites played a 'virtual match' to raise money for mental health charities in Brighton and Lambeth/Southwark, and today they will play an actual match hoping for a similar outcome. The afternoon will 'feature live music, half-time entertainment, raffles and fundraising activites, and is supported by Health & Wellbeing Company Specifeye, Football Support Group Our Game, Nuffield Health, Energy Company Utilita’s Community Programme and Fans For Diversity. It is hoped that this will become an annual event, with the next game at Dulwich’s home ground, Champion Hill.'

Tickets will cost a fiver, and you can buy them here or at the gate, and if you can't go and would like to donate virtually, you can do so here.
