Hawks hit second- and Bridges finally win away

By Ian Townsend

It was a good night for Sussex- but not such a good night for Chatham and Corinthian

Whitehawk, in fourth, welcomed Chatham Town, in second, to The Enclosed Ground. We had one- rather scrappy and probably own- goal, lots of effort, and three points for the hosts, which sent them second- and you can read all about it HERE, as it was our match of the day at isthmian.co.uk. The two sides meet again on April 1st.

At the other end of the table, Corinthian find themselves fifteen points away from guaranteed safety with only seven matches to go, after being the first side this season to lose at home to Three Bridges.

The Sussex side have been regularly magnificent at home, but until last night hadn’t been able to take their home form on the road- but they hammered another nail in the Corinthian coffin with a goal in each half last night. Camron Lawson got the opener six minutes before the break, Keiron Pamment added another just before the end, and Bridges are up to eleventh.
