Heath rename their stadium in honour of our frontline medics

Haywards Heath Town yesterday announced that they were going to rename their stadium for the forthcoming 2020-21 season. It will henceforth be known as the 'Thank You NHS Stadium.'

A short statement, released on social media, explained:

'Haywards Heath Town FC are pleased to announce that the Hanbury Park ground will be renamed THE THANK YOU NHS STADIUM for the 2020/21 season. This reflects the gratitude of everyone associated with the club of the hard work by all NHS staff during the COVID 19 pandemic.'
