Horsham snap up Saunders

Haywards Heath Town last night announced that Callum Saunders was leaving the club to head along the A272 (and up the A24) to join Premier Division Horsham.

Callum first came to our attention at Burgess Hill Town, before joining his father- and manager- Shaun at Hanbury Park in 2015. Since then Heath have had three promotions- although they were deprived of the second one after a points deduction- and a South East Division playoff spot in 2018-19. During that period Callum made 150 appearances, scoring 82 goals and, according to the Heath website, delivering 64 assists. If he can be just as good at the Camping World Community Stadium then Horsham fans will be delighted.
