Regent bring back striker Mekhi

Brightlingsea Regent prepared for tonight's match at Cheshunt by adding to their firepower, unveiling returning striker Mekhi McKenzie.

Mekhi played for Regent in the North Division back in 2016-17 under James Webster, making nine appearances and scoring in the first one, a six-three Alan Turvey Trophy thriller against Leiston. He moved on to play for AFC Sudbury, making two appearances towards the end pf 2016-17, another thirty eight during 2017-18 and twenty more during 2018-19. He then went on to play for Clacton under his new/former manager Tom Austin, and has had a very good season so far during 2021-22, scoring seven goals.
