Highlights: Basildon United 1 Bury Town 3

Town back to winning ways- and up to third

Fourth place Bury Town had done the unthinkable in their previous match- they lost- but they put that right at Basildon United, and earned revenge for a six-two defeat the last time the sides met.

It was the Bees who made the breakthrough, Callum Fitzer opening the scoring just before the half hour mark, but that just provoked the visitors, who had completed the turnaround by half time. Luke Brown delivered the equaliser to ensure his side were behind for only ten minutes, and in stoppage time Cemal Ramadan put the Blues ahead with his twenty eighth goal of the season. Just after the hour Oliver Yunn added a third for Town, and that saw the scoring end, and the visitors up to third.

The Bees are eighth, but ten points away from a top five spot.
