Highlights: Bedford Town 2 Gorleston 3

Bedford Town are top of Pitching In Southern Division One Central with a one hundred percent record, and looked to be tough opponents for Gorleston. The travelling Greens were unlikely to be overawed by those statistics, however, as they’d been in fine form themselves, and had already won three matches on the road this season- but the visitors fell behind in this one, just after the break. They were behind for only six minutes, Alby Matthews with the equaliser, and then turned the match on its head, Henry Pollock causing the home fans to utter an expletive that rhymed with his name. The Greens added a third with eight minutes left, Matthews with his second of the afternoon, but Bedford made the closing stages tense by pulling a goal back- but it turned out not to be enough to preserve their unbeaten record as the Greens marched on.
