Sports score first and last to leave Mid Sussex with a point

Burgess Hill Town welcomed Phoenix Sports to the Homecall Carpets Stadium. Sports had one solitary victory from their previous nine and had conceded seventeen goals in losing their previous three matches- but they had a good record against Hill, winning five of their previous six meetings, and went ahead in the very first minute, Gael Kileba opening the scoring.

Hill levelled just before the break through Mo Jammeh, and the turnaround was complete on sixty five minutes, Darren Budd making it two-one. Fifteen minutes from time the visitors levelled, Kwesi Ntim making it two-two, and that was how it ended. The hosts are twelfth, Sports climb out of the bottom two into eighteenth.
