Highlights: Double Millers

Lordswood of the SCEFL played host to Cray Valley PM. The Millers had a perfect start to their season last weekend, whilst their hosts had drawn both of their opening matches- and it was three draws from three as Kyrell Lisbie’s goal for the Millers wasn’t enough to earn them victory, so we were back to the Artic Stadium in midweek.

The replay was rather a different story.

The Millers took the lead on thirty four minutes, Kyrell Lisbie- who scored their goal at the weekend- doing it again. The visitors levelled from the spot just before the break, James Jeffrey- who scored Lordswood’s goal at the weekend- ensuring all sorts of symmetry. The Millers regained the lead shortly after the restart, Freddie Parker making it two-one, and they put daylight between themselves and their opponents when Michael Ademiluyi made it three. It was as good as over when Ademiluyi struck again to make it four-one- and you can watch that below.

Perhaps another run to the First Round might be possible this season?
