Second place Felixstowe & Walton United were also at home, Maldon & Tiptree heading to the seaside. The Seasiders seemed to have got over their two defeats at the end of last month, taking four points from their last two matches, but we expected they’d have a tough task to get past the travelling Jammers, who saw a five match unbeaten run come to an end at Witham a week ago- and so it proved, the visitors taking the lead with only three minutes to go- Louis Britton’s twelfth of the season- and that proved to be the winner. The Seasiders stay second, but are six points behind Lowestoft and have played two games more.
