The Rams overwhelm their South East rivals in the Trophy

Ramsgate and Sheppey United, both Cup winners last weekend, met on the Kent coast- and the Rams overwhelmed their visitors in this all South East tie. Joe Taylor’s thirteenth goal of the season put the Rams ahead at the break, and midway through the second half a quick fire double from Medy Elito- who had only been on the field for ten minutes when he scored his first- gave them a three-nil cushion. Bode Anidugbe added a fourth with twenty one minutes left, and a late goal for Danny Leonard for the Ites made little difference to the outcome.
