Highlights: Sheppey United 0 Burgess Hill Town 0

No goals as draw specialists Hill do it again

Sheppey United welcomed Burgess Hill Town to the Island, and neither side could manage a goal. Hill have become rather difficult to defeat, but are also struggling to win, and have now drawn exactly fifty percent of their league fixtures so far- it’s no surprise that their goal difference is zero! That’s three away draws from their last four on the road for the Hillians, and four draws from their last four league matches whether home or away.

The Ites scored four at the weekend, but couldn’t find a way past Hill’s defence last night, despite a late red card for Hill keeper Taylor Seymour which saw striker Dan Perry having to take the gloves for the closing stages.

Hill manager Dean Cox departed his role the following day.
