A shootout victory for the Bees in the Velocity Cup

Two of our form sides in the Division met in the Velocity Cup, as Walthamstow hosted Basildon United. The hosts went ahead early on, Matthew McDowell in the sixth minute, but the Bees levelled sixteen minutes from time through Lewis Duberry and the match went to penalties, the visitors keeping their nerve to triumph four-two.
