Hillians bring in striker Jeff

Duah-Kessie signs on for Burgess Hill Town

Burgess Hill Town had the mammoth task of replacing Mr Hill, Pat Harding, this summer- but their new signing, whilst not a like for like replacement, certainly knows where the net is!

Jeff Duah-Kessie finished last season with Sevenoaks Town, making three appearances after arriving just before the transfer door slammed shut. Oaks were his third club last season- he started the campaign at Phoenix Sports, and also spent time with their neighbours, VCD Athletic.

Jeff got five goals from his fifteen appearances for Sports last season. He had been at Mayplace since 2017-18, scoring seventeen, twenty seven, fourteen and two goals during the previous four campaigns, remembering that the last one of those was very short indeed and the one before that wasn't completed either! His time with Vickers saw him get three from sixteen matches.

He joined Sports from SCEFL side Croydon, where he was also prolific- indeed he holds the record for the most goals ever scored for the club in one match, for the five he got against Erith & Belvedere in 2016-17.
