Hirst back at Bowers

By Ian Townsend

Luke Hirst moves from the Len Salmon to the Len salmon, as he returns to Bowers & Pitsea

Forward Luke Hirst, who scored ten goals in twenty two appearances for Bowers & Pitsea's tenants Hashtag United last season, has returned to the Len Salmon from the Len Salmon! Prior to his move to the Tags he had already made fifteen appearances- with six goals- for Basildon United.

Luke was an Under 18 with Dagenham & Redbridge before his first spell at the Len Salmon, where he was prolific at youth and Under 23 level before making his way into the first team squad, where he made five appearances and scored once during the 2018-19 campaign, and followed that with three more appearances at the start of the following season.

He got the chance to play in Sweden for IFK Mora, but the pandemic got in the way, and he also spent a little time with Grays Athletic, appearing twice at the start of the 20-21 campaign.
