Horsham debut former Rocks and Gate keeper

Amadou Tangara becomes a Hornet

Horsham last night gave a debut to recent Margate and Bognor Regis Town keeper Amadou Tangara in their Velocity Cup defeat against Whitehawk.

Tangara joined the Rocks in October 2019 after leaving Kingstonian, and- of course- also played for Merstham and Dulwich Hamlet. He was superb behind the Rocks defence, making fourteen appearances during the 2020-21 season before it crashed to an end, twenty nine during 2019-20 before the pandemic hit, and another forty eight last season.

He moved to Margate for a second spell in the summer, making eleven appearances, but a change in his personal circumstances cut his time short- and now he's back in Sussex.

He has also played for North Greenford United and Peacehaven & Telscombe.
