The FA Cup First Round draw was made earlier this afternoon, and we have five participants, three of whom are sure of kicking off on 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th November.
Horsham were the first of our clubs out of the pot, and they face a long, long trip to Carlisle United- all three hundred and forty two miles of it! United are currently second bottom of League Two, with only two wins form ten matches so far this season.
AFC Sudbury were next up, and they don't have to travel at all- and their opponents don't have to travel all that far, either! Colchester United, in nineteenth place in League Two with only three wins this season, will be heading their way- only fifteen miles.
If Corinthian-Casuals can overcome St Albans City in a midweek replay then they will host Forest Green Rovers, currently top of League Two, whilst if Folkestone Invicta can defeat Eastleigh in their replay they'll be off to another National League side, Boreham Wood, who currently sit in second place.
Bowers and Pitsea's reward for defeating Aldershot Town is a fabulous tie at Lincoln City. The Imps currently sit in thirteenth place in League One, and Rob Small's side will have a three hundred and sixteen mile round trip from the Len Salmon- hopefully with a joyous return trip!
Winning clubs pick up £22,629. See the full draw here.
