Invicta confirm Davies and O'Mara

Folkestone Invicta have confirmed that their centre back duo of Callum Davies and Finn O’Mara have signed on for the 2020-21 season.

Callum has been with the club for almost five years, and in that time has played two hundred and five times, according to the Invicta website. He joined the stripes from Maidstone United. He came through the ranks at Gillingham and spent five years there, too, but had a number of loan spells during that period- with Lewes, Dover Athletic, Eastleigh, Bromley and Thurrock, and a short spell with Invicta before joining the club permanently. He played eleven times last season- which is almost as many as any of his teammates, sadly.

One player who made more appearances- albeit just one more- is his defensive partner O'Mara. Finn is another former Gill, although he was there only two years. He came through the youth ranks at Dartford and moved to Invicta in October of 2018, and if our calculations are correct, he has made seventy five appearances and scored four goals.
