Isthmian Fantasy Five-a-side: Ryan Waterman

By Ian Townsend

Our second entry from a Bury Town supporter, as Ryan (no relation to Dennis) Waterman picks his famous five

Ryan picks a rather attacking line up filled with Bury Town talent- yet plumps for a Great Wakering goalkeeper!

Goalkeeper: Bobby Mason - Great Wakering Rovers. Very solid when he came down to Ram Meadow. Ticked all the boxes for a keeper and had a good bit of banter with the fan

Defender: Ryan Stafford- Bury Town. A class player who was always a threat going forward and solid with the ball at his feet.

Midfield: Jake Chambers-Shaw, Bury Town. A class act. My son thought he was a pro on loan from Ipswich Town or Norwich City when he first saw him play. Formerly of Cambridge United, Soham Town Rangers, Histon and Mildenhall Town.

Forward: Ollie Hughes, Bury Town. Ollie has got an engine which would put a lot of professional forwards to shame. A club legend, player of the year for three years in succesion.

Forward: Cemal Ramadan, Bury Town. A goal machine. Cemal scores goals for fun, in large quantities. Always a threat, and a top player.

Would you like to have a go at picking your Isthmian Fantasy Five-a-side team? Remember, you must include a goalkeeper, a defender, a midfielder and a forward, but the fifth choice and the substitute if you want wan can be from any position. Get in touch with Ian by email here.
