Jake is back for Regent

Clowsley stays at the seaside

Jake Clowsley was an instant success for Brightlingsea Regent on his return to the club midway through last season, making eleven appearances and scoring three goals before the campaign shuddered to a halt. And now he's back for more, as Regent have confirmed that he has signed on for 2020-21.

Jake originally joined the club in November 2015 from Stanway Rovers, and this is his third spell at the Taydal. He made four appearances during their North Division promotion season in 2016-17, and fifteen in the Premier Division the following season- a campaign when he also spent a few months with AFC Sudbury, making twenty four appearances.

He previously made over one hundred first team appearances with Clacton, at the start of his career- he came through their youth system- and more recently prior to heading back to the Taydal just prior to Christmas.
